How to download a Suno song

A desktop walkthrough for preparing, checking and saving one permitted public Suno track.

Open the song on Suno and copy its song URL or share link. This tool accepts https://suno.com/song/… and https://suno.com/s/…. A song title, playlist, profile or Hook link is not a supported input.

The song must be complete and publicly accessible. The site does not sign in to your Suno account or ask for a password, cookie or API key. Check that you have the right to download it and that your use complies with Suno’s current terms. See download rights if you are unsure.

Prepare, preview and save

  1. Open Single track. Paste the link into the song field.
  2. Choose a format. MP3 is a familiar playback option. Original keeps the available source encoding; its extension is detected from the audio file.
  3. Select Prepare download. Keep the page open while the song is checked and prepared. The tool checks that the file can be decoded, that its duration is close to the song’s reported duration and that the sampled audio is not silent.
  4. Review the result. Check the song title and duration, then use the player to preview it. These technical checks do not replace listening to the file.
  5. Select Save MP3 or Save followed by the detected format. Your browser saves it to its download folder or asks you for a location, depending on your settings.

Keep the version you meant to save

Open the downloaded file in your usual player before closing this tab. Filenames include the song title and song ID by default. Use File names to choose a shorter title or a numbered name before saving. The site does not rename or reorganise existing files on your computer.

Prepared audio is temporary. Refreshing or closing the page discards it, although the browser session may restore your input and format choice. If you want several songs together, use Batch ZIP and its track manifest.

A failed result is not a downloaded file. Read the error guide before retrying. If you need an official export for a commercial release or client delivery, use Suno’s own download controls and keep the relevant licence records.
